The Senator Pete Suazo Leadership Foundation was founded in November
2001, shortly after the tragic death of the late Senator Suazo. The
Foundation was established at the University of Utah to honor the legacy
and commitment of the Senator.
Requirements
The Foundation provides one to three $1,000 scholarships
and one $500 internship stipend (local internships only) per semester for ethnic
minority students enrolled at the University of Utah who demonstrate a passion for community service.
