About the Campaign Management Minor:
The Campaign Management Minor offers undergraduate students the opportunity to learn the theory and practices that will allow them to be effective participants in election and advocacy campaigns. MINOR Requirements:
To complete the Campaign Management Minor, students are required to complete courses in the Political Science, Communications, and Philosophy Departments. Students must also complete a political internship through the Hinckley Institute of Politics.
In order to apply to the Campaign Management Minor, students must have a declared major at the University of Utah , and must have completed the University's American Institutions requirement.
Application Process:
Complete the following steps. Turn in completed forms to the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the time of the appointment with a Hinckley administrator.
- Download and fill out the Campaign Management Minor Application.
- Fill out the Hinckley Intern Online Application Cover Sheet , (in order to be entered into our database) , by completing the following sections:
- Personal Information
- Contact Information
- Emergency Contact Information
- Academic Record
- Semester of Internship box (In box, student should type in Campaign Management Minor )
- Submit a recent copy of your official transcript from the U of U, including any transfer transcripts.
- Make an appointment to meet with Amy Code phone: (801) 581-8501.
To Apply for Graduation:
Make an appointment to meet with the Hinckley administrator to review classes and sign off on graduation application, according to University graduation requirements and timeline.
